What are you comparing us to?
Four comparisons, each written the same way: what the other option does well, what it leaves you doing, and where it beats us. If one of them is the better buy for you, we say so on the page. There is a fifth question at the bottom, for anyone who runs trucks and already pays for a fleet app.

Other software
Both are bigger companies than we are, and both are better than us at some things. Neither publishes a price, so we haven't guessed at one.
And if you already pay for a fleet app
This one has no page of its own, because it is not really a competitor - it is a question about overlap.
Whip Around, Fleetio, Motive and the rest do vehicle inspections and maintenance properly, and several of them do things we do not do at all: GPS tracking, hours of service, fuel cards, engine fault codes, a maintenance schedule per part. If what you need is telematics, buy one of those. We are not going to pretend otherwise.
What they generally do not do is the safety side. The toolbox talk on every tier; the job safety analysis, the written program in your name and the packet a general contractor asks for before he lets you on site, on Company; the crew's certification matrix on Fleet - that is a different pile of paper, and most fleet software does not touch it.
So the honest answer is that it depends which pile is hurting. On Fleet, Tailboard covers the pre-trip, the defect that stays open until somebody fixes it, the previous report put in front of the next driver, and the miles and PTO hours split at the state line for the fuel-tax return - because those sit next to the safety paperwork and the same crew does both. If you are running fifty trucks and need to know where they are right now, that is a fleet product's job, not ours.
